Olivia Carlson

Olivia Carlson the is lab manager for the Shamblin Lab within the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. She has worked in the lab since the summer of 2019 when she started as a lab assistant. Olivia obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Natural Resources with an emphasis in Wildlife Sciences from the University of Georgia in 2020. During that time, she acted as a voluntary lab technician for the Maerz laboratory, aiding in both animal husbandry and mark-recapture field work. She also completed her thesis entitled: The Effects of Urbanization on Anuran Occupancy in the Piedmont Region of Georgia.
